Cavani hopeful of Boca’s seventh, reiterates he will retire at the club | OneFootball

Cavani voiced optimism about Boca’s return to the Copa Libertadores in 2026 and reiterated he intends to retire at the club.

"We have the Libertadores to play and I think that is the primary objective for this new season. We are all excited and getting ready for what is coming," he told Farándula Show.

"I have the strength to be able to lift the seventh, something longed for by all Boca fans, we always work with that aim."

"I said before that I would retire at Boca. That is already in my head. I keep my word and that is how it will be."

Cavani signed his current contract in October 2024, and it runs until the end of 2026. He spoke while launching a new line of his own wines during his holidays.
