The Brazilian Football Confederation confirmed on Tuesday that Corinthians will face Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil Feminina third phase on Saturday 30 May at 11:00, at Nubank Parque. SporTV will show the match exclusively.
It is the only fixture scheduled for that day, with nine ties set for Wednesday 27 May and six more on Thursday 28.
The opponent and home venue were set by draw last Friday at Granja Comary in Rio de Janeiro. Both clubs enter at the third phase alongside other top-flight teams. The draw was open, with no seeding or CBF ranking restrictions.
The rivals have met 32 times in women’s football, with Corinthians leading the series on 17 wins, seven draws and eight defeats. They have scored 53 and conceded 32. However, there is only one win in the last five meetings, alongside two runners-up finishes in the Supercopa and the Paulista Feminino.
This is only the second edition since the cup returned in 2025 after a nine-year absence. Last season Corinthians knocked out Cruzeiro on penalties in the third phase and beat Juventude 3-0 in the last 16, before losing to São Paulo in the quarter-finals. Palmeiras won the title.
Corinthians are chasing a second crown, having triumphed in 2016 in partnership with Osasco Audax. Before the cup, Emily Lima’s side face Santos on Thursday at 19:15 in the Paulista Feminino third round at Fazendinha.
