By the time the game kicks off at 3pm the earlier kick-off in Edinburgh between league leaders Hearts and theRangers – who are now just three points behind Celtic – will have ended. Celtic simply must win this match if we are to remain as title contenders and if the Frenchman wishes to remain as Celtic manager.

Nancy’s Dreadful Start

He lost 2-1 to Hearts at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership, followed that up with a 3-0 defeat also to Paradise to Roma in the Europa League, then lost the Premier Sports Cup Final 3-1 to St Mirren at Hampden before Dundee United came back from a goal down to take the three points in midweek.

Despite Celtic denials yesterday about the board meeting to discuss Nancy’s future after his abysmal start, he surely cannot survive a fifth successive defeat and maybe even his first draw might not save him.
