Celtic are set to strengthen at left-back in the summer. They have already agreed a pre-contract with Kieran Tierney, with the Arsenal player out of contract at the end of the ongoing campaign. He is a fantastic talent for sure but at the same time, one cannot overlook the injury problems that have followed him throughout the course of his career and have been the major reason why he was not a bigger success in London.

So, Celtic will need to sign a backup option for Tierney as well. One who is capable of coming in and doing the job, when the Scottish international is out injured or in need of rest.

Greg Taylor could have been that guy but looks set to leave at the end of the season. Jeffrey Schlupp is being viewed as a decent option but what if the club are not able to sign him on a permanent basis?

It looks like a former Real Madrid left-back is set to be available as a free agent in the summer. And at 28 years of age, he should have plenty of football left in the tank.

Sergio Reguilon is completely out of the picture at Tottenham Hotspur right now. And his contract is set to run out at the end of the season.

Reguilon has played for clubs like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Sevilla over the course of his career. But in recent years, it has not worked out for him.

Reguilon needs to bring his career back on track. And a place like Celtic could be perfect for him, where he will get the chance to play European football and compete for trophies on a consistent basis. If a move is possible, the Hoops should consider it.
