The Scottish FA has confirmed the match officials for Celtic’s Scottish Cup fourth-round tie against Dundee at Celtic Park.
The Scottish champions reached this stage after a 2-0 victory over Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park last month, while Dundee progressed by beating Kilmarnock 2-1 at the same venue.
With both teams now aiming for a place in the quarter-finals, the inexperienced Ryan Lee has been appointed as referee for the fixture. He will be supported by assistants David McGeachie and Scottish Tory MSP Douglas Ross.
Video Assistant Referee duties will be overseen by David Dickinson, with Andrew Dallas assisting Dickinson from Clydesdale House.
This will be Lee’s second Celtic match of the season, having previously officiated Martin O’Neill’s side’s 4-0 league win over John McGlynn’s Falkirk in October.
He has also taken charge of two Dundee games this campaign, including their goalless draw with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and their 1-0 loss to league leaders Hearts.
Celtic and Dundee have already faced each other twice this season. Dundee secured a surprise 2-0 victory at Dens Park in October, while Celtic edged a 1-0 win at Celtic Park in O’Neill’s final match before his departure in December, courtesy of a first-half goal from Daizen Maeda.
The draw for the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup will take place after Scottish League One side Stenhousemuir face Falkirk at Ochilview on Sunday night.
The fourth round ties are as follows: Airdrieonians v St Mirren, Dundee United v Spartans, Dunfermline Athletic v Kelty Hearts, Elgin City v Partick Thistle, Celtic v Dundee, Aberdeen v Motherwell, theRangers v Queens Park* and Stenhousemuir v Falkirk.
All quarter-final ties will be played on the weekend of 7 March with Premier Sports and BBC having the pick of the four matches.

*What a disgraceful decision it was by the Scottish FA to throw Stranraer out of the Scottish Cup for fielding an ineligible player in their win over Queen’s Park in the last round.
The game was initially postponed and Stranraer’s on loan goalkeeper was re-called by his club ahead of the game that was played the following midweek. An emergency loan followed but the player wasn’t apparently properly registered.
This will cost lowly Stranraer around £250k, more than their Ibrox opponents were fined for more than a decade of imperfectly registered players with zero stripping of titles allowed.
A statement from Stranraer FC said: “While we believe the circumstances surrounding the breach were unfortunate and exceptional, we recognise that the responsibility for player registration and selection ultimately rests with the club.”
“This will come as an immense disappointment to all our supporters, staff, volunteers and players, particularly in view of the incredible effort to win our tie with Queen’s Park and the rewards that a tie against (the)Rangers would bring.
“Naturally, we share this disappointment, particularly given the positive progress being made both on and off the pitch this season and would like to offer our sincere apologies to everyone involved with the club.”
The club estimated that the money gained from the trip to Glasgow to face the latest Ibrox club would have earned enough to keep the club going for another two to three years.
The smaller the club the bigger the punishment from the bullies at the SFA. And you know what folk call bullies?
