Champions, Europa and Conference League round of 16 draws from Nyon | OneFootball

UEFA’s round of 16 draws for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League take place today in Nyon, starting at 12:00 CET. Italian interest centres on Atalanta in the Champions League, Bologna and Roma in the Europa League, and Fiorentina in the Conference League.

According to Football Italia, Atalanta were paired with Bayern Munich, and the winner will face Manchester City or Real Madrid. Other Champions League ties include Bayer Leverkusen vs Arsenal, PSG vs Chelsea and Galatasaray vs Liverpool.

In the Europa League, Bologna will face Roma, with the first leg in Bologna. The winner will meet Lille or Aston Villa in the quarter-finals, and Lille have been drawn against Aston Villa in the last 16.

Fiorentina will discover their Conference League opponents at 14:00 CET. Having come through the play-offs by eliminating Jagiellonia, they will face Strasbourg or Raków.

Atalanta director Umberto Marino said both Arsenal and Bayern are formidable and stressed the team will try to make life difficult for Bayern, relying on courage, determination and the fans’ support. He also pointed to daily enthusiasm and work-rate in the camp, which he believes is lifting the group.
