Arsenal's Gunners shattered a long-standing record this Tuesday in the Champions League.

On Tuesday evening, Arsenal defeated Slavia Prague (0-3) in the Champions League. Mikel Arteta's squad recorded a fourth consecutive clean sheet on the European stage. The Gunners haven't conceded a single goal in their last eight matches across all competitions—a feat they last achieved back in 1903.

With only three goals conceded this season—all in the Premier League—Mikel Arteta's side currently boast the best defensive record in Europe. This newfound solidity is thanks in no small part to the return of Gabriel and Jurrien Timber, both of whom missed much of last season.
