Lyon are behind us, and things are getting serious in the ADMIRAL Bundesliga on Sunday at 17:00 CEST. It's time for the Austrian Klassiker when we host SK Rapid Vienna at the Red Bull Arena!

Even if not everything went according to plan for us, our opponents have probably had an even more difficult week. On the last Bundesliga matchday, there wasn't just any 1-3 defeat for Rapid, but a loss in the Vienna derby. If that weren't enough, Hedl & Co were completely outplayed in the first half of the UEFA Conference League against Lech Poznan, ultimately losing 4-1.

We only recently landed in Salzburg. So, of course, Lyon is still in our legs and minds. Now we need to learn our lessons from this game. Then it has to be behind us, and we can start preparing for Rapid. This encounter is always a special match. Everyone knows the current standings: Rapid is in first place, and we have the opportunity to go level with them on points. We want to perform differently than in the last match and head into the international break with a win at all costs.

It's another difficult and challenging match, but we're looking forward to it. Rapid have been playing very coolly and successfully in the league so far, losing for the first time last week. We have the opportunity to overtake them with a win, and we'll give it our all.
