The 14th round of the Brasileirão Betano begins this Saturday (2), with five matches, and ends on Sunday (3), with five more games. This weekend, the championship will feature three state derbies: Palmeiras vs. Santos, Cruzeiro vs. Atlético-MG, and Flamengo vs. Vasco.

In the opening match of the round, Botafogo will host Remo at 4 p.m. at Nilton Santos Stadium, in a clash that has not taken place since 1980, when Alvinegro won 3-1 in Belém. In history, this will be their first match against each other in Rio. At 6:30 p.m., Vitória and Coritiba will face off at Barradão in Salvador, where they last played in 2017, with Coxa winning 1-0. At the same time, the league leaders Palmeiras host Santos at Allianz Parque. Historically, Peixe hold the edge in the matchup with four more wins (30 to 26).

At 8:30 p.m., Athletico-PR and Grêmio play at Arena da Baixada, where the team from Rio Grande do Sul won the last two meetings (2023 and 2024). Then at 9 p.m., Cruzeiro and Atlético-MG meet in the derby at Mineirão. Since 2016, Raposa have beaten their rivals only once (2023). Galo, meanwhile, have won six times in that span.

On Sunday, Flamengo and Vasco play the Clássico dos Milhões at the Maracanã at 4 p.m. Rubro-Negro, who are unbeaten at home in the Brasileirão for 29 matches, have not lost to their rivals in Série A since 2015, with 7 wins and 7 draws. Also at 4 p.m., São Paulo and Bahia play at Cícero de Souza Marques Stadium in Bragança Paulista. As the home side, Tricolor Paulista have not lost to Tricolor Baiano since 2013, with 4 wins and 5 draws.

At 6:30 p.m., Inter and Flu play at Beira-Rio, and Chapecoense host Red Bull Bragantino in Chapecó. In Porto Alegre, the team from Rio won the last meeting, in 2025 (2-0). At Arena Condá, they will face each other for only the second time in history — in the first, Red Bull Bragantino won 3-0 in 2021. Closing out the round, Mirassol and Corinthians will face off in the countryside of São Paulo state, where Leão won 2-1 in 2025.
