Enzo Fernandez topped one surprise stat in Chelsea’s win against Leicester at the King Power on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues ran out 2-1 winners thanks to goals from Nicolas Jackson and Fernandez on Enzo Maresca’s first return to Leicester since leaving in the summer.
The win meant Chelsea stay third in the table and move just one point behind Manchester City in second place after their heavy defeat to Tottenham.
Fernandez was restored to the starting the line-up in the Premier League for the first time since early October having lost his place to Romeo Lavia in the defeat to Liverpool.
Lavia had started all the subsequent league games and Fernandez had to make do with trying to make an impact from the bench.
The Argentine captained the side in the absence of Reece James and was named man of the match after he scored the all important second goal and assisted Jackson for the opener, with Joe Cole very impressed by his performance.

Fernandez has done his chances of starting against Aston Villa on Sunday no harm and as per Mail Sport he covered 11.6km in the game, the most by anyone on the pitch and the most by any player in a Chelsea game this season.
What makes this more impressive is Fernandez only arrived back from international duty on Thursday less than 48 hours before the game and had to deal with a long haul flight and jet lag.
Maresca has spoken previously about how he trusts the World Cup winner and that performance will have gone down well with the Italian.

Fernandez also went some way to dispelling the trail of thought that he’s not athletic enough to get around the pitch in the Premier League.
It remains to be seen whether he keeps his place against Villa, but it was a timely reminder to Maresca of the quality he has and the positive impact he can have on this Chelsea team.
