Sunderland’s summer window is gathering pace, with top-flight suitors circling and sizeable valuations emerging around Robin Roefs, Lutsharel Geertruida and Frank Anguissa.
Sunderland Echo reports that the Black Cats, safe under Régis Le Bris, must make calls on loans, additions and the futures of key performers.
Geertruida, on loan from RB Leipzig, is not expected to join permanently and is due back in Germany, with his longer-term situation unclear. Liverpool have previously been credited with interest given Arne Slot’s Feyenoord link, while Everton are also said to be monitoring, and Leipzig are believed to want more than £20m.
Sunderland are again linked with Napoli midfielder Frank Anguissa, 30. Areanapoli reports that, while no official price tag is set, Napoli are unlikely to sell for less than €20m, roughly £17.4m.
Goalkeeper Roefs, 23, is said to be on the radars of Chelsea and Liverpool after an outstanding debut season. The Sun claims both clubs are tracking him, with Sunderland, who signed him from NEC Nijmegen last summer for an initial £9m, understood to want around £50m.
