Chelsea and Newcastle make contact with Kim Min-jae’s entourage | OneFootball

Chelsea and Newcastle United have made contact with the entourage of Bayern Munich centre-back Kim Min-jae (28), according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Min-jae, two years after joining Bayern Munich from Napoli, is open to leaving the Bavarian club this summer, Foot Mercato understands. The centre-back, whose contract with the Bundesliga side runs until the summer of 2028, is already attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

Should Min-jae leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, he would prefer a move to a league in which he has not previously played. A Serie A side has displayed an interest in acquiring his services, however, he would be more keen on a move to the Premier League, where he is also garnering interest.

As per Foot Mercato’s report, Chelsea and Newcastle United have both reached out to the defender’s entourage to sound out the feasibility of a summer move.
