Sources: Chelsea player NOT FOR SALE despite Premier League approach recently!

He’s been speaking about whether Chelsea will be signing a new centre back or not as well after the long-term injury to Levi Colwill. But it sounds like he’s been defeated to having to look internally for options now.

Chelsea are also on the brink of selling another defender this window, with Renato Veiga set to join Villarreal and The Blues are set to have a 40% sell-on clause in this deal as well.

But we are talking about the other end of the pitch right now, with two other players expected be leaving up there as well in the shape of Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku.

And that is because Chelsea have already signed Joao Pedro up there and are still linked with more new attackers as well.

Pedro can play five positions

Enzo Maresca has been asked about Joao Pedro’s position today and says that he can actually play in five different positions.

On being asked whether Liam Delap and Pedro can play together, Maresca said:

“Joao, with us, can play in the five positions up front; winger, behind the striker. As a No.9, or behind the striker, is his best position. He can play in all the attacking positions for us.”

So yes, they can play together

So you can conclude from that answer that Pedro and Delap absolutely can play in the same team together because Delap could play as a 9 and Pedro could be in any of the other positions behind him.
