The Blues talisman is still a few weeks away
Cole Palmer has issued an update on his injury rehabilitation as Chelsea prepare to face Qarabag in the Champions League.
The Blues talisman has been restricted to just four appearances this season due to a groin injury.
Palmer started the season with the niggle, but originally played through he pain before pulling out of facing West Ham minutes before kick-off in the second game of the season.
Two goals in three games followed before Palmer succumbed to the injury and was ruled out for three weeks until the middle of October.
Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca soon revised the timeline with a further six weeks out for Palmer.
He looks very good, to be honest, he looks relaxed

“I was wrong. Unfortunately, he needs to be out probably six more weeks,” Maresca said on October 17.
“Yes, absolutely [he still doesn’t need surgery]. We try just to protect Cole as much as we can and the most important thing is that.
“Unfortunately, the medical staff, they are not magicians, they never know that you probably need six weeks. We hope that six weeks, they are enough, but it's a problem that we need to see step by step, week after week, but for sure he's going to be okay.
“He looks very good, to be honest, he looks relaxed. He's trying to recover from the injury, he's doing all the therapy that he needs to do, so he looks good.”

In the meantime, the hard work continues for Palmer, who has been updating fans on his progress via social media.
Posting a photodump on Instagram on Monday, Palmer led with an image of him hard at work in the gym, another with an X-rated motivational message and, finally, celebrating Chelsea’s win over Tottenham.
