Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at Anfield was a pretty creditable result for the Blues.

This Liverpool team aren’t very good, and are very low on confidence. But after 6 defeats in a row, you can’t turn your nose up at a draw at Anfield.

The big positive from the game wasn’t the result, it was the fact that Levi Colwill started and played the full 90 minutes.

Colwill primes himself for FA Cup final

Before the game we said we were a little worried that there was a risk being taken with Colwill, given he played 45 minutes on Monday.

When he had his hands on his knees before half time, and limped around for a period in the second, we thought our worst fears were coming true. We certainly didn’t think he’d be seeing the full time whistle.

But against all odds he came through it all, and should now be fit and ready to start in the FA Cup final against Man City next weekend.

In other news…

There is some debate about Enzo Fernandez’s goal and whether he will be awarded it – if he is, he breaks the Premier League scoring record of a few fan favourites.

The equaliser came in a period where Chelsea were really strong, and they will be gutted they didn’t add more at that point.
