Felix joined Milan on loan for the remainder of the season on transfer deadline day at the beginning of the week.

The 25-year-old, who only arrived at Chelsea for £44.5 million last summer, made just nine starts across all competitions this season so has moved to Italy in order to get more regular football.

The Blues will apparently receive a £5 million loan fee, though there are conflicting reports regarding as to whether Milan will have the option to make the move permanent in the summer or not.

Speaking to SportMediaset, Moncada discussed the Serie A giants' rather busy January transfer window and touched on whether Felix's stay at the San Siro will be longer than the initial agreement.

"It depends on us, on him. There is always a possibility," Moncada said. "We have a really good relationship with Chelsea, we’ll see in the summer."

Felix certainly enjoyed a dream debut for Milan by scoring on his debut in their Coppa Italia quarter-final win over Roma on Wednesday night.

Replacing former Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic just before the hour mark, Felix restored the Rossoneri's two-goal lead 12 minutes later after Artem Dovbyk had given the visitors hope following Tammy Abraham's first-half brace.

"Joao and Santiago [Gimenez] also only had one training session, but understood immediately, confirming their intelligence," Milan boss Sergio Conceicao said afterwards.

"Felix scored a great goal, but we haven't done anything yet, we still have three games to go to win the Coppa Italia. Now we have to think about Empoli, which will be a very difficult challenge. We hope to continue like this."
