A two-time Premier League winner with Chelsea, Hazard was voted the League’s Player of the Season in 2014/15 and earned Chelsea’s Player of the Season award four times during his seven-year stay at Stamford Bridge.

Eligibility for the Hall of Fame is limited to individuals who have retired from professional football and is open to those who plied their trade in the post-1992 era.

Hazard joins Gary Neville as one of two inductees chosen this year by the existing 24 Hall of Fame members, a group that includes Sir Alex Ferguson Arsène Wenger, former team-mate Didier Drogba among others.

The final selections were made after members reviewed the outcome of a public vote in which fans were invited to choose from a shortlist of 15 nominees.
