Chelsea have reportedly been making some senior players use different toilets and also make them eat separately.
It is of course all a part of the ‘Chelsea bomb squad’ that has become famous at the club since the new owners took over.
It’s caused a bit of a stir and a bit of a debate online since we first started hearing it. Some fans think that it’s good and is a good way of moving players on. Others think it’s a way of operating that lacks respect and not a nice way to treat players. I guess there are good points to both sides of this argument but the fact is, Chelsea have signed a huge amount of players under the new owners so they are always going to be left with many players that they will need to sell.
I personally don’t think it’s the best way of operating in a human aspect. I think it will give the club a bit of a rep down the line and could effect whether some players will want to join in fear of just becoming part of this bomb squad. Of maybe they want to become part of the bomb squad? Get paid a lot of money to just keep fit, can’t be bad!?

An inside report from The Sun claims that the extent of the ‘bomb squad’ isolations include having to use a seperate toilet, a different changing room and not being allowed to eat with any first teamers.
Chelsea still have a small group who are part of this bomb squad.
The remaining ‘bomb squad’ members are Raheem Sterling, Disasi and David Fofana, as per the report.
