Chelsea are not looking to sell Pedro Neto this summer, according to the Standard.

Neto has been linked with Manchester City and Liverpool, with both clubs looking to strengthen their attacking options.

The Cityzens’ interest in the Portuguese forward stems from his previous relationship with manager Enzo Maresca, whom he worked with at Chelsea.

Liverpool are considering several alternatives after missing out on Yan Diomande, who is now on the verge of joining Real Madrid.

No club has contacted Chelsea over a deal for Neto, and they want to keep him. However, they could reconsider their stance if they receive a serious offer.

Morgan Rogers’ arrival from Aston Villa has sparked suggestions that Neto could struggle for game time next season.

Neto has struggled for consistency since joining Chelsea from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024. He has tallied 19 goals and 19 assists in 103 appearances across all competitions.

With increased competition following Rogers’ arrival, the 26-year-old may need to improve his consistency to secure a regular starting berth under manager Xabi Alonso.

Neto was not included in Chelsea’s squad for their pre-season tour of Australia and Asia. He is on holiday following his participation with Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Blues face Western Sydney Wanderers in a pre-season match on Tuesday morning, before taking on local rivals Tottenham Hotspur four days later.
