Chelsea reignites interest in Samu Aghehowa

According to several Spanish sources, Chelsea has reactivated its interest in Samu Aghehowa, the 21-year-old Spanish striker who is currently shining at FC Porto.

Having left Atlético Madrid in the summer of 2024, Aghehowa has established himself as one of the most prolific young forwards in Europe, racking up 35 goals and 3 assists in 54 official matches for the Dragons. He was already close to joining the Blues before moving to Portugal, and now the Spanish international (3 caps) is back at the top of Enzo Maresca’s shortlist as he looks to bolster his attacking options.

However, the deal is set to be a complicated one: Porto is reportedly demanding more than €100 million to let their star leave, with the forward under contract until 2029. It's a hefty price tag, but Chelsea could make their move as early as next summer to secure the services of a highly sought-after striker.
