Chelsea have signed a player who is ‘fast, strong, and finishes very well with both feet’ according to another player today.

Chelsea have been consistently snapping up top young talents from around the globe since the new owners came in and used this new recruitment policy of buying young players on lower wages and watching them grow into superstars so they wont have to pay superstar money to buy them in.

EXCLUSIVE! Inside Chelsea: What is happening behind the scenes? Is Maresca truly safe? What relationships are not as good as they seem? All that and more!

It’s a strategy that has received so much criticism from fans and the media alike, and even former players. John Obi Mikel, who was a successful midfielder for Chelsea during what I call the glory days at the club, has ever been critical about it and he’s been at it again this week with his latest comments after Chelsea lost 3-1 to Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League.

Even an actual Chelsea scout who works for the club now has been questioning their recruitment in the summer which has now left them short after injury and fatigue issues.

But it looks like they will continue to operate in this way anyway and snap up young players they hope will turn into stars worth millions and millions.

Will Satpaev become one?

FC Kairat Dastan Satpaev will join Chelsea once he turns 18 next summer, and there has already been a lot of hype around the attacker.

FC Kairat host Real Madrid in the Champions League today.

Ahead of the European fixture, Marca interviewed Portuguese left-back Luís Mata, who joined Kairat last summer.

“He’s only 17 years old, but he’s fast, strong, and finishes very well with both feet. He has tremendous potential, which is why Chelsea signed him,” he said.

“He’ll probably go out on loan to gain experience, like in this Champions League. I see him with great potential, although football isn’t just about that. The psychological aspect is also very important, and I think he has that, too. Hopefully, he can help us against Real Madrid.”

I like this player

I’ve watched him play now a handful of times and I really like Satpaev. He is very mature beyond his years and already playing international football at a senior level too. He has a lot of qualities and I think he could stand out.
