The representatives of Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson have hit back at Bayern Munich’s honourary president, Uli Hoeness, after his recent comment on the player’s loan move.

The Senegalese striker has yet to kick a ball for the Bundesliga champions, but tensions are already rising off the pitch after Bayern’s president ruled out a permanent move for Jackson.

The Chelsea striker joined Bayern in a record loan deal on deadline day. Bayern paid an initial £14.2 million loan fee, with a mandatory purchase clause worth £56.2m.

However, certain conditions need to be met before Jackson joins Bayern permanently, and according to Hoeness, the clause will almost certainly never be triggered.

Speaking on German TV, Hoeness claimed that the deal would only be activated if Jackson started 40 games for Bayern this season.

He described that the target was unrealistic and drew comparisons to Harry Kane, who started just 42 games for Bayern last season.

Those comments didn’t go down well with Jackson’s camp. His agent, former Senegal international Diomansy Kamara, took to Instagram to voice his frustration.

Without aiming directly at Hoeness, Kamara dismissed the speculation and stressed that Jackson is fully focused on his international duties with the Senegalese national team.

“Many speak, but few tell the truth,” Kamara wrote (via the Daily Mail).

“That’s not the topic today. Our only priority is Senegal’s decisive match for World Cup qualification. This is a crucial moment for the entire nation.

“Our track record, our ethics, and our way of working are well known, first as footballers and now as advisors to African players. It’s time for unity.

“The rest will be dealt with later, at the appropriate time. End of story.”

Jackson’s move to Bayern was one of the most complicated transfers of the summer. Chelsea tried to pull out of the initial deal after Liam Delap suffered an injury in the 2-0 win against Fulham.

They instructed Jackson to return to England, but he refused. They were forced to recall Marc Guiu from his loan spell at Sunderland, freeing Jackson to complete his deadline-day move.
