Chelsea ‘to consider’ Liam Rosenior’s future before Leeds FA Cup semi-final

Chelsea are weighing Liam Rosenior’s future ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final against Leeds after another damaging defeat at Brighton.

The Blues arrived on the south coast after four straight league losses without scoring, then were beaten 3-0 at the Amex. It left them five league defeats in a row without a goal, their first such sequence since 1912. According to Sky Sports, the club are considering their next steps.

The report added that Rosenior remains in charge for now, with a change before Sunday not ruled out.

It said sporting leaders are taking stock following the Brighton display and, while he has been backed to date, results are driving decisions. It is deemed too early to say if he will lead the team in the semi-final.
