The rumours about Real Madrid interest in Enzo Fernandez continue to rumble on, leading to speculation about how much Chelsea would get for their midfielder.

On TalkSport, Andy Townsend asked the question about how good Enzo has actually been since coming to the Premier League.

Former player doesn’t think Blues would get their money back for key man

“I don’t think Enzo has been unbelievable since he’s come to Chelsea. I think he’s had moments. I think they’d get less than what they paid for him. If you were to get close to that, I don’t think Chelsea would be disappointed if he had to go,” Townsend said.

“If he has eyes on Real Madrid and had his head turned, I can’t believe they’d get any more than £75m or £80m.”

We couldn’t agree more with Townsend’s assessment of Enzo’s form since coming to Chelsea. He has indeed had great moments and moments where you can see why he was so expensive. But nobody can say he’s had the impact you’d have hoped for from a player who cost more than £100m.

Levi Colwill’s return could be coming up in the next few weeks according to speculation from the Sun.

Chelsea’s players are increasingly looking like they’re not happy with Liam Rosenior as manager, and aren’t carrying out his instructions according to a well connected Chelsea journalist.
