Christian Norgaard is always one of the last to leave the Arsenal training ground, according to the Sun.
The midfielder moved to the Emirates Stadium from Brentford last summer, but has only played four Premier League games for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Norgaard has yet to start a league game for Arsenal but has made 10 appearances across other competitions, starting eight of them.
However, his commitment remains unwavering, and fellow Gunners midfielder Martin Zubimendi has described him as the ‘best trainer’ at the club.
Leandro Trossard named Norgaard as the Arsenal player who raises everyone’s level on a day-to-day basis in a recent interview with the Premier League.
The 31-year-old may not be playing regularly as he would have preferred, sometimes not even getting named in the matchday squad.
However, his importance in the Gunners’ squad is huge given his dedication and versatility.
The younger players can always learn from senior professionals, and Arsenal will be happy they opted to sign him last summer.
Norgaard always trains like someone who is starting the next game, and his teammates have been inspired by his attitude.
Eberechi Eze is also always one of the last to leave the Arsenal training ground, and his form in recent weeks has been impressive.
He bagged a brace in the 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, and spending time with Norgaard after a majority of his teammates have left for the day is paying off.
Arsenal are back in action at home on Sunday when they host Chelsea in the Premier League before a trip to face Brighton & Hove Albion next Wednesday.
Victories in those games would be crucial to their title chances, and both Norgaard and Eze will be ready to prove themselves if called upon.
