City Are Back: Fans invited to unique first-team training event | OneFootball

Fans are invited to watch Manchester City’s Men’s and Women’s First Teams take part in a special open training session at the Joie Stadium on Tuesday, 5 August.

The event, called City Are Back, aims to excite fans about the return of domestic football by offering them a chance to watch the two squads train, including seeing our new signings in action for the first time.

Fans will also hear directly from our new recruits, while newly appointed Manchester City Women’s Head Coach Andrée Jeglertz will address the Joie Stadium crowd for the first time.

Pep Guardiola is also expected to say a few words ahead of the new season. The event will be hosted by our Match Day Live presenters.

Away from the pitch, younger fans can enjoy a variety of fun activities in our fan zone, including football skill challenges, photo opportunities with the mascots, and face painting. There will also be live entertainment, music from our resident DJ's and Live music from the Paul Hand Band.

Tickets for the special event will be priced at £5 for adults, and £3 for Under 21s and Over 65s. They will go on sale to Season Ticket Members for either of our First Teams at 10:00 (UK) Thursday 17 July.

Any remaining tickets will go on sale to all Cityzens Official Members on 10:00 (UK) Friday 18 July.  Subject to ticket availability, further sales windows may be announced ahead of the event.

Two tickets can be claimed for each transaction, so fans can bring a friend or family member should they wish. Mobile tickets will be issued closer to the event.

City Are Back will start at 12:30 (UK) and finish at 17:00 (UK). For those who cannot attend, the special event will also be live-streamed across our channels.
