Thanks for joining our Champions League coverage for this evening.


It was a frustrating night for the likes of PSG, Newcastle and Dortmund, who were all held to draws. Newcastle and Dortmund both led against Leverkusen and Bodo/Glimt respectively, but neither could hold on for all three points.

Arsenal remain top of the Champions League group, maintaining their 100% winning record in Brugge. City jump up to fourth following a huge comeback victory against Real Madrid in the Bernabéu.

GOAL LEVERKUSEN

The hosts have put Newcastle under tonnes of pressure in the last 10 minutes and final find the equaliser. Alejandro Grimaldo is the hero once again with a powerful low finish past Ramsdale.


CHANCE REAL MADRID

Endrick gets up well inside the six-yard area and headers against the crossbar. Los Blancos are really pushing for a leveller here.


CHANCE PSG

Fabian Ruiz almost catches out Unai Simon at his near post, but the goalkeeper recovers in time to poke the ball away with his feet.


CHANCE LEVERKUSEN

Nathan Tella thumps a shot towards the bottom corner but Ramsdale tips behind for a corner.


CHANCES REAL MADRID

Vinicius Jr heads inches wide of the City post from Rodrygo's deep cross. The Brazlian then volleys well over the bar from about four yards out. Big chance that one!

What a season for Anthony Gordon. He will go down in Toon history after this evening's display.


GOAL BODO/GLIMT

Bodo/Glimt refuse to lie down in Dortmund and the Norwegian side have levelled for the second time this evening through Jens Hauge's close-range strike.


GOAL NEWCASTLE!

Substitute Lewis Miley completes the Newcastle turnaround, leaping highest to header in from Gordon's lofted cross.


GOAL JUVENTUS

A quickfire double for the Old Lady and Jonathan David extends Juventus' lead by controlling Kenan Yildiz's low cross and sliding in the finish.


GOAL JUVENTUS!

Juventus have been much-improved after the break and Weston McKennie opens the scoring, firing high into the net from a tight angle. A well-worked Juve goal there.


OFF THE POST

Anthony Gordon shimmies on to his left foot and lashes a cracking shot against the post. Flekken was well and truly beaten there.


How good has the Brazilian been in the Champions League this season?


CHANCE JUVENTUS

Francisco Conceicao takes an excellent into the Pafos area to create some space, but he shoots straight at the goalkeeper.


GOAL ARSENAL

The Gunners are in cruise control against Brugge and Gabriel Martinelli gets in on the action with a wonderful curling strike from 20-yards out. Sublime technique.


Brandt is enjoying his 2025/26 Champions League for Dortmund.


CHANCE REAL MADRID

Jude Bellingham has a great chance to equalise as the ball falls to him inside the area, but the midfielder leans back and chips his shot well over the bar.


GOAL NEWCASTLE

Newcastle win a penalty after Mark Flekken's heavy challenge on Nick Woltemade and Anthony Gordon steps up to convert from the spot.


GOAL DORTMUND

Julian Brandt is at the double as he restores Dortmund's lead from close range with a poacher's finish.


GOAL BENFICA

Rios turns provider for Benfica as his low cross is flicked in by Leandro Barreiro's clever finish.


GOAL ARSENAL

It's only taken a few minutes for Arsenal to double their lead in the second half and Madueke gets another with a simple header to convert from Martin Zubimendi's cross.


SECOND HALF

Another big 45 minutes of Champions League action coming up.


Not a great sign here for Newcastle, who trail Leverkusen at half time.


A big evening for Nico O'Reilly this evening, too. The City defender bagged his first Champions League goal, helping the spark the Cityzens first-half comeback in Madrid.

Nico O'Reilly pulls City level by pouncing on Thibaut Courtois' spilled save from Gvardiol's header and tapping into the net. All square once again.

Anderson thumps a fierce effort towards goal and his shot clatters off the post.


Rodrygo ends his lengthy, lengthy goal drought for Real Madrid.

Arsenal nearly bag a second before the break and Viktor Gyökeres' powerful header is clawed off the line.

Rodrygo gives Real Madrid a big goal against Man City. The attacker controls Jude Bellingham's pass and slots a perfectly placed finish low into the net. A fine attacking move from Los Blancos.


Not a bad return for the Gunners forward.

Noni Madueke opens the scoring for the Gunners with a wonderful solo goal, collecting the ball from the right flank, dribbling forward and lashing an unstoppable strike into the roof of the net!


OFF THE POST

Miles Lewis-Skelly fires towards goal and Piero Hincapie gets a deft touch to send the ball against the post.


NO PENALTY

The challenge on Schick was inches outside the area. No penalty.


VAR PENALTY CHECK

Malick Thiaw pulls down Leverkusen attacker Patrick Schick in the area and VAR is having a look for a potential penalty.

The hosts have been pushing for an opener against Napoli and Richard Rios delivers with the simplest of tap-ins from a couple of yards out.

Real Madrid are finding tonnes of space against City's backline and Vinicius Jr almost clips the ball over the onrushing Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the City goalkeeper saves.

Ajax fight back with three second half goals to end their Champions League losing streak.

Late drama over in Spain, too as Andreas Cornelius reacts first to a blocked shot and fires the rebound into the top corner.

Surely that settles it? Oscar Gloukh is at the double with a fourth for Ajax.Mika Godts finds the midfielder with a neat pass and Gloukh makes no mistake by rifling into the bottom corner.

Another one for the Dutch giants and Anton Gaaei puts Ajax in front by lashing into the top corner from a tight angle.

Just as Qarabag threaten, Ajax race down the other end of the pitch and level through Oscar Gloukh's 20-yard strike that nestles into the bottom corner. A thunderous finish!


CHANCE QARABAG

The hosts almost get a late third as Emmanuel Addai's low shot forces Vitezslav Jaros into a low save.


Ajax are pushing for a late equaliser against Qarabag, with Youri Regeer blazing over and Anton Gaaei going close in the late stages.
