Manchester City will face Brighton & Hove Albion in the FA Cup final on Sunday 31 May at Wembley Stadium.
The Blues booked our spot in the showpiece occasion with a dramatic 3-2 extra time win over the holders Chelsea in our semi-final clash at Stamford Bridge.
It looked like our FA Cup journey was coming to an end with the hosts 2-0 up heading into the 85th minute, but late goals from Mary Fowler and Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw forced extra time.
Shaw then headed home the winner to book our spot in the final and keep our hopes of a domestic double alive.
Brighton also earned their spot in the final with a late goal, beating Liverpool 3-2 in the other last four encounter.
City have beaten AFC Bournemouth, Sheffield United, Birmingham City and Chelsea to reach the final, our first appearance in the showpiece since 2022 as we aim to complete a league and cup double.
We first won the FA Cup in 2017, beating Birmingham City 4-1 in the final thanks to goals from Lucy Bronze, Izzy Christiansen, Carli Lloyd and Jill Scott.
City then beat West Ham United 3-0 in the Wembley showpiece two years later, with Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway and Lauren Hemp all on target.
Our most recent success in the competition came in November 2020, with a 3-1 extra time triumph over Everton after strikes from Sam Mewis, Stanway and Janine Sonis.
Tickets are already available to purchase on the Adobe Women’s FA Cup website, but keep across mancity.com and the official Man City app for further information in the coming days.
