From the Under-18s and Elite Development Squad, and including players out on loan, City have 22 players on international duty in September.
It’s a short window for all the international squads, which will see most play two games over the next five to seven days.
The Under-18s head into the break top of the Under-18 Premier League North table with nine points from a possible nine.
Our EDS, on the other hand, have had a difficult start to the campaign with one win and two defeats in the PL2, but a fantastic 5-1 win over Oldham in the EFL Trophy means we sit top of our group.
Ahead of the international break, here are all the details of our players on international duty this week…
Representing Scotland’s Under-21s, Emilio Lawrence and his national team-mates will take on Czechia and Portugal in their European Championship Qualifier matches.
Michael Okeke has received an Under-21s call-up for Hungary again. He will be hoping to help his nation qualify for the Euros too, with their European Championship Qualifier match against Lithuania to take place next week.
For England’s Under-21s side, loan duo Divine Mubama (Stoke City) and Max Alleyne (Watford) will be hoping to play a part in the Three Lions’ game against Kazakhstan, their latest European Championship Qualifier.
For the age group below, Joel Ndala, who is on loan at Hull City, Lakyle Samuel, who has joined Bromley on loan, and Justin Oboavwoduo will attend an International Friendly Camp at St. George’s Park.
England Under-19s will see four EDS players travel to Spain for an International Camp. Stephen Mfuni, Divine Mukasa, Kian Noble and Oliver Whatmuff (who is on loan at Rochdale) have joined up with their international teammates for the week. Christian McFarlane, who was on standby, will also now join up with the squad.
England’s Under-18s squad has the most City representatives of any age group. Kaden Braithwaite, Dante Headley, Harrison Miles, Finlay Gorman and Ryan McAidoo will all take part in the Costa De La Luz U18 Internacional competition in Spain.
To complete the England representatives, Ben Vickery, Floyd Samba and Marlow Barrett will travel with the Under-17s side for an international tournament in Germany.
Under-18s defender Oliver Tevenan has been called up to the Republic of Ireland Under-19s squad. They face France in a friendly later this week.
And to complete City’s youngsters set to take to the international stage, goalkeeper Max Hudson has been selected to take part in Wales Under-19s’ friendlies against Austria and Belgium.
