The Nigerian midfielder is attracting plenty of interest, but negotiations are stalled by Bruges’ firm stance.

Raphaël Onyedika could ultimately remain at Club Bruges for the coming season. West Ham and Everton have shown strong interest in the Nigerian midfielder, but no concrete offers have been submitted so far, as the Bruges club is determined to maximize the profit from his eventual sale.
For several weeks now, Raphaël Onyedika’s name has been making rounds in the British press. Multiple Premier League sides, including some mid-table outfits, have set their sights on the 23-year-old. His profile is especially appealing to West Ham and Everton, both reportedly ready to open negotiations.
Despite the Premier League interest, the Nigerian’s transfer situation has stalled, suggesting he could be set for another season in the Pro League. The Hammers have yet to table an official offer for Raphaël Onyedika. “There are no advanced talks, no bid has been submitted. The club is just talking to intermediaries to explore a potential deal,” ExWHUEmployee told The West Ham Way.
Meanwhile, Bruges have already outlined their position: Onyedika is valued at around €30 million, and any sale will be contingent on securing a replacement. For now, the Nigerian remains a key asset for the Blauw-Zwart. The club is in no rush, and won’t be swayed by any insufficient offers.
