Besiktas are continuing talks with Rangers to try to find an agreement to take Ridvan Yilmaz back to Turkey.
Yilmaz joined Rangers from Besiktas in 2022 and has featured in 69 games for the Gers so far in his career.
After returning from an early season hamstring injury Yilmaz managed to establish himself in Philippe Clement’s starting line-up.
Turkish giants Besiktas are keen on taking Yilmaz back to the Turkish Super Lig and have offered to take him on loan.
Rangers quickly turned down Besiktas’ approach and Gers boss Clement said claims regarding the left-back’s possible departure from Ibrox were false.
Now according to Turkish broadcaster A Spor, Rangers have made Besiktas aware that they will only consider a bid in the region of €5m for Yilmaz.
The Turkish had been of the mind that €3m would be adequate, but negotiations between the two clubs are continuing.
Yilmaz missed Rangers’ last two games against Dundee United and Union Saint-Gilloise and all eyes will be on the player to see how the situation develops.
