The Colombian federation announced the squad for the March window, with friendlies against Croatia and France to be played in the United States.
Five players from Brazilian clubs are included, Jhon Arias of Palmeiras, Jorge Carrascal of Flamengo, Andrés Gómez of Vasco da Gama, plus Johan Carbonero and Rafael Santos Borré of Internacional.
The group also features leading names such as Luis Díaz, James Rodríguez and Richard Ríos, as Colombia look to at least match their best World Cup run, the quarter-finals achieved in 2014.
In qualifying, Colombia produced a strong campaign to finish third on 28 points, edging Uruguay, Brazil and Paraguay on tiebreakers.
They face Croatia on Tuesday 26 at 20:30, Brasília time, then Gustavo Alfaro’s side meet France on Sunday 30 at 17:00, with both fixtures in the United States. For the World Cup, Colombia already know two Group K opponents, Portugal and Uzbekistan.
