Intensity levels have been at their peak in training this week as the Eagles gear up for Matchday 33.

Four goalkeepers and 24 outfield players took to the pitch on Wednesday morning as Eintracht completed an intensive training session. Before the Eagles worked up a sweat, however, congratulations were in order for Jean-Mattéo Bahoya on his 20th birthday. The following 90-minute session was all business, though, as the team focused on their match preparations. Mario Götze, Kaua Santos and Ebu Bekir Is were absent as they continued their individual recovery regimes.

While the four goalkeepers worked on separate drills, the outfield players were divided into four teams for a hugely competitive six-vs-six mini tournament that included a semi-final, third-place play-off, final, a winners’ photo and a warm-down.

Eintracht are aiming to have another winners’ picture taken on Sunday evening – only this time on the Deutsche Bank Park turf following their game against FC St. Pauli (kick-off 17:30 CEST).
