Mainz are in a not dissimilar position, managing just one win and two draws in their first nine Bundesliga matches, yet they have won both Conference League fixtures.

The Germans earned 1-0 victories over both Omonia Nicosia and Zrinjski Mostar.

Maxim Leitsch is struggling with flu symptoms, while Maxim Dal and Anthony Caci are long-term absentees.

Kasey Bos and Niklas Tauer are not on their UEFA squad list.
