Liverpool beat Galatasaray 4-0 in their Champions League clash on Wednesday.
Going into the tie, nobody knew which version of the Reds would show up with some even believing that the Turkish outfit could end up knocking them out of the competition.
However, thanks to a rather impressive opening goal from Dominik Szoboszlai, that was never going to be the case with Liverpool the best team on the night by a country mile.
Wednesday's outing was one of the best performances that Slot's men have put in this season and it sort of game a glimpse into how things could end up looking next season, if the Dutchman stays at the helm, of course.

It's clear that Liverpool are going to sign a fair few new players in the summer.
In fact, they've already confirmed the arrival of Jeremy Jacquet for £55 million which means that an entirely new system could come into play.
One thing that Slot hasn't managed to settle on this season is the way that he wants his team to set up.
Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo have been the most hurt by the Dutchman's lack of decisiveness as they've both been asked to play in roles that don't suit their needs.
However, Wednesday's game showed that, if Salah's strengths are played to, then he's still one of Liverpool's best players.
Indeed, he may have lost a little bit of pace this season but that doesn't mean that his ability to finish has completely fallen apart.
He's one of the world's best inside forwards and, even though Slot may want his strikers to be the main goal scorers, if he wants to win trophies, he must play to the strength of his current crop of players.
And, with Jacquet coming in this summer, it's clear that room will have to be made for the Frenchman which could mean that Liverpool play with three centre-backs which would benefit almost every player among their ranks.
Liverpool's plans to sign Marc Guehi in the summer where thwarted at the final hurdle.
Crystal Palace pulled out of negotiations which meant that the Reds were a centre-back down for the rest of the season.
This failed transfer has had a massive knock-on effect for the rest of Slot's men with Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong left to try and make the best of a bad situation.
It was clear that the aforementioned duo were brought in to be wing-backs but, since Liverpool don't have enough centre-backs to allow a five at the back formation to work, they've had to be used as full-backs.
This meant that Gakpo and Salah had to create the width which is unlikely to have been the plan.
However, when Jacquet comes in and as long as Ibrahima Konate extends his contract, Slot will have five centre-backs to choose from which will allow enough wriggle room for three of them to start.
This would help Liverpool out massively as it would allow the club to play to the strengths of all their players while also solidifying their defence.
Of course, Jacquet's injury could impact this plan being integrated from the start but, once he's back to full fitness, a whole new era of Liverpool could arise.
