Manchester City open their account at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup with a clash against Moroccan side Wydad AC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pep Guardiola and his players come into their clash at Lincoln Financial Field with the hope of kickstarting their 2025/26 campaign in the best-possible manner, as they go in search of their first major trophy of the season and the retention of their world crown.

Wydad AC marks the start of a three-game group stage phase for Manchester City, before they turn attentions to challenges from the United Arab Emirates’ Al Ain, and Italian giants Juventus in the United States.

Thankfully for Manchester City, there appears to be a fully-fit squad at the disposal of Guardiola after their days of training in Boca Raton, Florida in the build-up to the clash, with four new names also available for selection.

Having arrived in quick succession prior to the start of the tournament, all of Marcus Bettinelli, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders, and Rayan Cherki are available for selection as they go in search of their full Manchester City debuts.
