Confirmed Man United XI vs Fuham: Amad starts, Sesko has to wait | OneFootball

Benjamin Sesko will have to wait to make his first start for Manchester United this afternoon as they face Fulham in their second match of the new season.

Andre Onana is back in the squad, but there is no place for Rasmus Hojlund.

Defence

Although Onana is back in the squad, he is not selected to start. Altay Bayindir keeps that privilege despite his high-profile error against Arsenal last time out. The Cameroonian’s omission will fuel speculation that he is available for sale as United close in on Royal Antwerp’s Senne Lammens.

The back three remains unchanged from last Sunday, with Leny Yoro on the right, Matthijs de Ligt in the middle and Luke Shaw on the left.

Wing Backs and Midfield

In the only change to the starting XI against Arsenal, Amad comes in at right wing back in place of Diogo Dalot. Patrick Dorgu is left wing back.

Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro reprise their roles in the centre of the park.

Forwards

Once again Matheus Cunha will lead the line, with Bryan Mbeumo and Mason Mount flanking him. The front three were quite fluid against the Gunners and the same is expected today.

Substitutes

Joining Onana and Sesko on the bench are Dalot, Tyler Fredricson, Harry Maguire, Ayden Heaven, Manuel Ugarte, Kobbie Mainoo and Josh Zirkzee.

Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui are out injured.

Kick-off at Craven Cottage is at 4.30pm.
