Copa do Brasil 2026 fifth phase draw, two-legged ties and schedule window set

CBF held the fifth phase draw for the 2026 Copa do Brasil on Monday. Ties are slated for the weeks of 22 April and 13 May, first legs then second legs, exact dates to be confirmed. In 2026 two changes apply, all 20 Série A clubs enter here and the round is two-legged.
According to Globo.com, the ties are: Atlético-MG v Ceará, Ceará host second leg. Cruzeiro v Goiás, Cruzeiro host second leg. Athletico-PR v Atlético-GO, Atlético-GO host second leg. Flamengo v Vitória, Vitória host second leg. Grêmio v Confiança-SE, Confiança host second leg. Vasco v Paysandu, Vasco host second leg. Fortaleza v CRB, CRB host second leg. Bahia v Remo, Remo host second leg.
Botafogo v Chapecoense, Chapecoense host second leg. Red Bull Bragantino v Mirassol, Mirassol host second leg. Corinthians v Barra-SC, Corinthians host second leg. Fluminense v Operário-PR, Fluminense host second leg. Palmeiras v Jacuipense-BA, Jacuipense host second leg. Internacional v Athletic-MG, Internacional host second leg. Santos v Coritiba, Coritiba host second leg. São Paulo v Juventude, Juventude host second leg.
The 32 teams were split into two pots of 16 per the CBF ranking, the top 16 in Pot 1 and the rest in Pot 2. For public safety, clubs from the same city could not both host on the same base date, except in cities with more than two participants.
Prize money starts at R$ 2 million this phase and rises to R$ 78 million for the champions, with R$ 34 million for the runners-up.
