Corinthians' 16-year-old striker signs first pro contract

Throughout the afternoon of this Friday (7th), Corinthians registered, in the CBF's Daily Information Bulletin, the first professional contract – valid until October 2028 – of forward Kayke Dallaqua, 16 years old – born in 2009. Previously, the athlete only had a training bond with the club.

Central do Timão learned that the release clause for abroad is 100 million euros (a little over R$ 616 million). The value of the national release clause was not disclosed. On his social media, the young player celebrated signing the contract with the Alvinegro. Click here to check it out. In the current season, the young player scored eight goals in 34 matches (17 wins, six draws, and 11 losses) for the Under-17 category.

In the current season, due to some shortages in the Under-20 category, the center forward – still 15 years old – played in five games (three wins and two losses) for the older team but did not score any goals. In all the games, the coach of the Filhos do Terrão was Orlando Ribeiro, who left the club at the end of August.

Currently, the youth categories of Corinthians are led by general director Carlos Alberto Auricchio, Nenê do Posto, and Erasmo Darmiani, as the football department executive. The professional contract between Corinthians and Kayke Dallaqua represents greater protection for both parties in case of potential interest from other clubs.
