Corinthians and Casa da Moeda launch medals for 115th anniversary

In a ceremony held at the Corinthians Memorial last Saturday, October 4th, the Alvinegro, in partnership with the Casa da Moeda, launched commemorative medals in honor of the club's 115-year history at Parque São Jorge, celebrated on the last September 1st.

According to the statement released by the club, the event was attended by President Osmar Stabile, Rafael Castilho (Director of the Corinthians Cultural Department), Leonardo Alves (Commercial Superintendent of Casa da Moeda), and Bernardo Aieta (Manager).

The medals, available in gold, silver, and bronze versions, were produced in a limited edition, highlighting in noble metal the history of Corinthians and its fans. On the official Alvinegro website, Osmar Stabile commented on the importance of the event: “It is a great satisfaction to be here again with the Cultural Department working for Corinthians. This event is very important because it brings with us the history of Corinthians, 115 years of history, work, dedication, tears, war, struggle. It's a pleasure to be here. A hug to the people at Casa da Moeda, a hug to Rafael Castilho who has worked a lot for Corinthians”, he said.

Representing Casa da Moeda, Leonardo Alves emphasized the partnership and relationship with Corinthians: “For us, it is an honor to participate in this moment of launching the medal alluding to the 115 years of Corinthians, a club marked by achievements, history, and the passion of its fans. Casa da Moeda do Brasil, being a Brazilian public company with over 320 years, feels deeply honored to eternalize the history of Sport Club Corinthians Paulista.”
