Corinthians arrived in Santos on Tuesday for their 2026 Brasileirão kick-off, a meeting with Bahia at Vila Belmiro on Wednesday 28 at 20:00.
According to Meu Timao, the squad trained at CT Joaquim Grava in the afternoon, then travelled to the Baixada Santista, with 24 players named for the opener.
The headline inclusion is Memphis Depay, back after almost a month recovering from a bone oedema in his left knee following the end of 2025. He had not been available this season.
Dorival Júnior remains without Cacá, in physical transition, and José Martínez, who has no return date amid passport reissue delays in Venezuela. Cacá also completes the 25 registered for matchday one, the minimum required by regulation.
The team bus was greeted by a large Fiel crowd. André Ramalho and Gustavo Henrique addressed supporters, while the rest moved on under Military Police guidance due to the tight entrance.
This will be Corinthians’ sixth outing of 2026 after five Paulistão rounds. The fixture was brought forward from Thursday to Wednesday and moved to Santos to balance rest with Flamengo, their Supercopa do Brasil opponents on Sunday.
Selected players include goalkeepers Felipe Longo, Hugo Souza and Kauê, and full backs Hugo, Matheuzinho, Matheus Bidu and Pedro Milans. Centre backs are André Ramalho, Gabriel Paulista and Gustavo Henrique, midfielders are André, André Carrillo, Breno Bidon, Charles, Dieguinho, Matheus Pereira, Raniele and Rodrigo Garro, and forwards are Gui Negão, Kayke, Memphis Depay, Pedro Raul, Vitinho and Yuri Alberto.
