Corinthians visit Chapecoense on Thursday at 21:30 at Arena Condá in the seventh round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with Dorival Júnior managing seven absences and six players a booking away from suspension.
According to Meu Timao, Gabriel Paulista, André Carrillo, Kaio César and Memphis Depay stayed in São Paulo for workload management. English midfielder Jesse Lingard is also unavailable, his name is yet to appear on the CBF's BID while he awaits a work visa.
In the treatment room are goalkeeper Felipe Longo, recovering from a right elbow ligament strain, and left-back Hugo Farias, who is rehabbing a right knee lateral meniscus injury after surgery.
There is a boost up front as Yuri Alberto returns, the team's leading scorer this season with three goals, now over a grade two left hamstring problem that kept him out for more than a month.
Five players travel on two yellow cards, goalkeeper Hugo Souza, centre-back Gustavo Henrique, right-back Matheuzinho, left-back Matheus Bidu and midfielder Raniele. Any booking would rule them out of the next round against Flamengo. Carrillo is also on two cautions but is not in the squad.
Corinthians began the round in eighth on eight points, with Chapecoense 12th on six. Victory away could move the visitors closer to the G5, which secures a place in the 2027 Libertadores.
