Corinthians start the week with overdue image-rights payments and a looming wage deadline, while finalising plans for their sole mid-season friendly.

According to Globo.com, the club have yet to settle image rights that were due on the 20th, and must pay June salaries, those registered on employment contracts, by the fifth working day of July.

The board is working to clear what is owed to the squad within that timeframe.

While the arrears remain, the team continue preparations for their first and only friendly of the interseason, away to Cascavel in Cascavel at 16:00 Brasília time on Sunday.

The match will be used by head coach Fernando Diniz to run tests and build match fitness before the Brazilian calendar resumes at the end of July.

The players were given Sunday off and report back at CT Joaquim Grava on Monday.
