Corinthians close in on signing Ana Vitória ahead of Copa das Campeãs

After securing the arrivals of midfielder Paola García (Deportivo Cali-COL) and forward Rhaizza (Bahia) for the 2026 season, Corinthians is close to finalizing the return of midfielder Ana Vitória, 25 years old, with an eye on the Copa das Campeãs (Women's Club World Cup). The information was released by Meu Timão.

Furthermore, according to the report, the Alvinegro is seeking to speed up negotiations, as Ana Vitória is under contract with Atlético de Madrid, Spain, until June 2026. Still according to the portal, the player wishes to join the Brabas squad already for the Women's Club World Cup, which will take place in London, England, between February 28 and January 1.

The Brabas will report back this Monday (5th), and on the 20th, they will travel to London with their sights set on the match against Gotham FC from the United States, on the 28th at 9:30 a.m. (Brasília time), for the semifinals of the Copa das Campeãs. Thus, the Alvinegro has two weeks to finalize the player's arrival before the trip to Europe.

Ana Vitória's first stint at Corinthians was between 2017 and 2018, when she scored eight goals and provided three assists in 57 appearances, participating in the team's Conmebol Libertadores and Brazilian Championship titles. Afterwards, she transferred to Benfica, Portugal, where she played from the 2018/2019 to the 2022/2023 seasons. Next, she moved to PSG, France, and since the 2023/2024 season, she has been playing for Atlético de Madrid.

In the 2025/2026 season with the Spanish team, she has played 18 matches without scoring goals or providing assists, according to the website Ogol. Of these, 11 were in the Spanish League, six in the Women's Champions League, and two in the Copa de la Reina. Wearing the Brazilian National Team jersey, she won a Silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and played in the 2023 Women's World Cup.

In addition to the Copa das Campeãs, the Brabas will compete in 2026 in: Supercopa do Brasil, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Paulista, Brasileirão, and Conmebol Libertadores. For the current season, the following have already left the Alvinegro: goalkeeper Kemelli, right-backs Letícia Santos and Paulinha, defender Mariza, and forward Eudimilla.
