He is not yet registered to debut, with Corinthians awaiting full paperwork to lodge his name on the CBF’s Boletim Informativo Diário. Lingard has not played since December 2025 and will undergo a period of reconditioning.

An academy graduate at Manchester United, he made 235 appearances, scored 35 goals and provided 21 assists, winning the Europa League, FA Cup, EFL Cup and Community Shield.

He has 32 England call-ups and featured at the 2018 Fifa World Cup.

Between 2009 and 2022 he had loans at Leicester City, Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Derby County and West Ham United, where he was a standout. He joined Nottingham Forest in mid 2022, then moved to South Korea in February 2024.

For FC Seoul he played 66 times across two seasons, scoring 19 goals with 10 assists. After leaving the club he was linked with Clube do Remo, although talks did not lead to a deal.

Lingard is Corinthians’ seventh signing of the season, following Gabriel Paulista, Pedro Milans, Matheus Pereira, Allan, Zakaria Labyad and Kaio César. The club have also confirmed the return of left-back Fabrizio Angileri.
