Corinthians director reports leaked proposals to compliance as political crisis deepens | OneFootball

Corinthians technology director Marcelo Munhoes has referred a leak of rival proposals from Ticketmaster and Ingresse for the Fiel Torcedor programme, ticketing and facial recognition at Neo Química Arena to the club’s compliance team after Ticketmaster withdrew its offer. According to Meu Timao, his internal email has intensified a political row.

Sent on Thursday to president Osmar Stabile, the legal team and the DPO, the note said the material was restricted to senior staff under confidentiality. The email, first published by Central do Timão, cited a prior discussion with the DPO.

Munhoes wrote that confirmation of the leaked data showed improper sharing of live talks. He called it serious, with reputational, commercial and legal risks, suggesting possible breaches of confidentiality and governance. He requested a formal probe, log preservation, responsibility assessments, contractual reviews and potential referral to authorities.

The leak and Ticketmaster’s subsequent withdrawal fuelled unrest, with three directorates giving differing accounts. Marketing refused to confirm details first reported by ge.globo and denied any leak, now set out in the complaint. Technology and Expansion and Innovation distanced themselves.

After initial mistrust, those departments later concluded the source lay elsewhere. Full access to the bids was limited to four senior figures, Osmar Stabile, vice-president Armando Mendonça, administrative director Fábio Soares and Neo Química Arena manager Ricardo Okabe.

Boletim Corinthiano said on Sunday that Stabile knew the culprit and had not acted. Munhoes confirmed he filed the complaint. Herói Vicente declined to comment, while council chair Romeu Tuma Júnior said no inquiry request has been lodged, and Cori president Miguel Marques e Silva urged urgency if confirmed. Stabile has been contacted.
