A petition by the Movimento Expulsão Já to expel former Corinthians presidents Augusto Melo, Duilio Monteiro Alves and Andrés Sanchez has drawn almost 15,000 signatures.

According to Meu Timao, the non-member target is 25,000, with more than 14,250 already gathered, close to 60%. Among members, 450 are required and 398 have signed, about 88%.

The drive is led by Projeto Time do Povo, which brings together leaders and collectives from the Fiel Torcida. The movement cites the recently revealed agreement with Caixa and cases involving partners Taunsa and VaideBet as signs of imprudent governance by recent boards.

It is pushing for a swift inquiry and the removal of those involved from the membership roll, citing technical and legal grounds. These include alleged breaches of the club statute, Article 28, Lei Pelé 9.615/98 Article 18-C on administrative transparency, democratic governance and accountability, and Lei Geral do Esporte 14.597/23 Articles 64 and 67 on reckless management and lack of transparency.

Signatures are being collected until Friday, 27 February, in a bid to oblige the councils to table the expulsions of Sanchez, Melo and Monteiro Alves. Supporters can sign via the Movimento Expulsão Já website by completing a form on the page.

Movement representative Victor Amatucci said it was time to unite, mobilise and try to make a difference. He added that he did not know if it would work, but as a Corinthians fan he would not give up, and that the Fiel have often proved doubters wrong.
