Corinthians visit Peñarol at Estadio Campeón del Siglo on Thursday at 21:30 in Copa Libertadores Group E. Fernando Diniz is without several players, though no one is on a booking tightrope.
According to Meu Timao, centre-back João Pedro Tchoca remains out after hernia surgery and Hugo Farias is still recovering from right knee meniscus surgery. Matheus Bidu sprained his left ankle in the last game and did not travel to Montevideo.
In midfield, Alex Santana is unavailable because he was not registered while sidelined under Dorival Júnior. Up front, Vitinho is treating right hip pain and Kayke has ruptured the ACL in his left knee, ruling him out for the season.
Memphis Depay has overcome a right thigh issue but felt calf discomfort in recent days. He is training with the group, yet is not ready to play.
Charles returns after a right heel problem, and Zakaria Labyad is available again after missing the last match with right knee pain.
Corinthians have no players one booking from suspension, although Gabriel Paulista and André Luiz have one yellow each. Another caution would leave them vulnerable to a ban that could affect the round of 16 first leg, for which they have already qualified.
Timão lead Group E with 10 points, ahead of Platense on 7, Independiente Santa Fe on 5 and Peñarol on 2. One point from the final two rounds would secure top spot. A win tonight could lift Peñarol to third and keep them alive before hosting Santa Fe.
