Corinthians supporters are split over renewing forward Ariel Godoi’s contract, with a narrow majority against keeping her for 2027. According to Meu Timao, a poll reflected that divide.
Overall, 53.8% backed her departure when her current deal ends, while 46.2% favoured her staying on.
The poll also showed opposition to a new deal for centre-back Agustina. By contrast, goalkeeper Ana Morganti drew more than 80% support to remain, and further votes will follow on Carol Nogueira, Lelê, Thaís Regina and Vic Albuquerque.
Godoi joined at the start of 2025 from São Paulo after spells with Red Bull Bragantino, São José, Fluminense, Taubaté and Ponte Preta. Signed to deepen attacking options for then coach Lucas Piccinato, she has largely featured from the bench or in squad rotation games.
In her first season she played 41 matches and scored 10 goals. In 2026 she has nine appearances and five goals, taking her Corinthians totals to 50 games, 33 wins, nine draws and eight defeats, and she was part of the 2025 Campeonato Brasileiro and Libertadores title wins.
Under Emily Lima, she enjoyed a high point in May with a hat-trick in a 6-0 Paulista win over Red Bull Bragantino at Estádio Benito Agnelo Castellano. She is currently competing for minutes with Gabi Zanotti and Jhonson.
The club have opened talks with her representatives over a two-season extension. Discussions are at an early stage and are being handled carefully, with Gisela Robledo’s renewal, which expires in August, treated as the current priority.
