Estopim da Fiel, Corinthians’ organised supporters, are preparing to debut the largest banner in their history at Sunday’s Dérbi against Palmeiras at Neo Química Arena, kick-off 20:30, in the seventh round of the Campeonato Paulista.

According to Meu Timao, the banner measures 130 metres by 33 metres, totalling 4,290 square metres. It is expected to cover the entire North sector of the Casa do Povo, forming a mosaic in support of Timão during the opening minutes.

Founded in 1979, Estopim is regarded as the oldest organised supporters’ group in ABC Paulista and views the initiative as a landmark in its story. The banner features symbols tied to Corinthians’ history and the group’s identity.

Production involved members and associates, including fundraising efforts. The group chose a clássico for the debut, consistent with the tradition of turning big games into spectacles beyond the pitch.

Group president Fabrício Felisberto said the banner stems from collective work, reflects their history and love for Corinthians, and highlights the strength of the stands and the fans’ role in football’s spectacle.

On the pitch, Corinthians face Palmeiras with the chance to move second in the table. Dorival Júnior’s side are fifth on 11 points and could climb to second with a win, behind only Grêmio Novorizontino on 16 points.
